We mentioned yesterday that we spend some of this day feeling a little down that the trip is coming to a close, well there are positives to this day as well that makes this day a favorite.
In these west coast parks, if you plan right, you can get everything done in just a few days. Then we get to days like today. We started the day in Disneyland and spent the morning hitting Buzz Lightyear, and all the Fantasyland rides. We took an easy stroll on to Pirates and had a great lunch at the Orleans Cafe. Alex, of course, had to get his chicken gumbo crepes, so it was an important stop to the day. The kids decided they wanted to do the drawing class again, so we took a walk over to California Adventure, learned to draw, and then went back to Disneyland to go through the Innoventions exhibit. It is nice to just move at an easy pace. I even had time to make several business calls and make some changes to what we do at work. This is the life.
I am so grateful for my job and for the people I have the opportunity to work with. They truly are family to us.
Wow, Jonah is a little boy all of a sudden!
