Day Seven: The Penultimate Day

What a great day. Today was our last full day in California Adventure. We may slip over on Friday for a couple of quick rides, but for the most part, we are done for this trip in that park.
We had a great day. We road Al's Screamer, twice, Mullholland Madness, got drenched on Grizzly River Rapids, went Soarin' Over California, helped Boo escape Monster, Inc., watched the Aladdin stage show, with all the pop culture references.
The boys did the animation class twice yesterday, once drawing dopey and once with Jack Skellington. They really enjoy that activity and would do it several times a day. We ended our day with an excellent meal of pizza, lasagna, and salad from Naples Ristorante. It was excellent.
Friday is the end. It has been a great trip, it is awesome to be with the kids and family. The weather has been great and the crowds manageable. All in all it has been a great time.
These pictures are of a couple of rides and an ice cream stop. And yes, this is what ice cream always does to our kids, not matter their age.

  1. Is that California Screamin Gracie and Jonah are on? I can't believe Jonah is tall enough! What an awesome brave kid! I am so glad you have had such a great time. We can't wait for our trip to DW in 4 months and 2 weeks!

  3. I fully approve of the ice cream faces. I may try it myself at the local level, of course.
