This is our anniversary. We are a little rocked by the news coming out of Haiti. Some very close and personal friends are closely tied to Haiti and the tragedy resonates with us. We are hoping and praying that some good somewhere can come out of this nightmare.
We had a couple of fun activities today. We took a galley tour to see the behind scenes work that makes it possible to serve 2300 people in 5 different restaurants each night. Oh, and the 1000 crew members as well. We also had tea with the Mad Hatter and learned the proper way to have tea, or apple cider on a Disney cruise. Who knew that ladies should be seated first?! It was fun though, and something I think Gracie would have appreciated.
We had our dinner at Palo tonight. Amazing food! Megin had a lobster tail and Josh had a Filet of Beef. Both were fantastic. We could eat there every night and be happy! The service is impeccable and there was not any food that we thought… ehh. The desserts (a chocolate soufflĂ© we had to order 20 minutes before we finished the entrĂ©e and a tiramisu and a pane cotta) were amazing. It will be very hard to go back to eating healthy.
