Today was a pretty easy day. We were at sea today, which you would think means finding stuff to keep yourself occupied. However, this is Disney, so there was plenty to do. We started the day with Brunch in Palo. This is an adult only restaurant on board. We have dinner booked there on Thursday night for our anniversary, but we got the heads up to try brunch as well. We are glad we did. It is basically a buffet with fresh seafood, breads, cheeses, fruit, and desserts that are great. They also will bring you a hot entrée, if you want. We both had a Frittata which is a fancy way of saying omelet. It was very good.
Today was our spa day. Megin had her teeth whitened (they are very shiny now, someone is compulsive about white teeth!) and a pedicure. We also had a couples massage and we were well educated about the toxins we are stuffing into our bodies. Then it was off to dinner to stuff more toxins into our bodies.
Tonight was formal night, and our meal was at Parrot Cay. Again, the food was great and our wait staff is top notch. Our main server, who moves with us from night to night, is Alicia from Trinidad-Tobago. Her assistant is Basori from the Indonesia. They are fun. It is interesting to see the wide gamut of guests and what they consider formal. There is everything from Tuxedos to short sleeve collared shirts. But at least we didn’t see any shorts.
We also caught most of A Christmas Carol in 3-D this morning in the movie theatre. We were a little nervous how we would react to 3-D on a moving ship, but it was pretty cool. The 3-D wasn’t very intrusive, it was pretty fun.
